De Ceuvel is a place with a mission. Here, they experiment with sustainable solutions, from composting toilets to aquaponics. The latter is a clever system in which fish and plants help each other grow. The fish poo feeds the plants, and the plants clean the water for the fish. This creates a sustainable and self-sufficient ecosystem!
At the Ceuvel Café you can order exclusively vegetarian dishes made with local and organic ingredients. The menu changes regularly, but you can count on delicious bowls, burgers and surprising snacks. The drinks are also sustainable: organic wines, craft beers and homemade soft drinks.
